┘GASOLINE, SACCHARIN: A CHANYEOL FANMIX┌ DOWNLOAD HERE compilation by linda and jennifer (linda’s note) yet another thing that shouldn’t have been made that … has been made ;; the story is, i wanted to make a fanmix based on chanyeol’s brilliant taste in music (and his lucky drumsticks sobs), but it evolved into this baekyeol rocker au instead. as a sequel i am now dropping songs onto this concept and hoping it doesn’t bomb, haha. WE’VE POURED OUR SWEAT, BLOOD AND WEIRD MUSICAL TASTES INTO THIS WEEPS 4 ETERNITY. the storyline is open to interpretation, but a few notes on our personal song choices: the characterisation of chanyeol here is based very much on byunghee in su!fbb – i wanted the music to have a cocky atmosphere at first, as factors cause chanyeol to become fast fused with an arrogant disposition (which is damn funny, because he seems like a mellow ~*happy virus*~ irl). the music builds up to portray a few reckless fights and idiotic behaviour before things become serious. should i stay or should i go is a song he rocks out to on stage, while light of the morning signifies the point where he meets baekhyun, someone who is able to ground him (you can say that baekhyun appears in all of the songs after that, but this tracklist is chanyeol-centric). it gets very ominous and ~heartbreaking towards the end bc, uh, i killed chanyeol off. whoops.1.
